Sculptra can be used to treat overall volume loss in: *
Sculptra, known as the liquid lift or nonsurgical facelift, is a natural injectable with biostimulating properties. Sculptra is one of the best dermal injection treatments that addresses the root of the problem, being lack of collagen and loss of volume in supporting tissues under the skin. Collagen is a key structural component that keeps skin youthful looking and smooth. As you age, your body’s collagen production decreases, and you may begin to see wrinkles. Sculptra works within the deep dermis to replace lost collagen by targeting the underlying sources of facial aging. As opposed to other injectables such as restylane or juvederm, Sculptra does not only occupy space, but actually stimulates a patient’s own collagen response. It is the patient’s own collagen that provides the patient’s long term result by improving contours and wrinkles.*
Sculptra is a long lasting dermal filler made from poly-L-lactic acid that designed to replace lost collagen and provide subtle, natural looking results. Sculptra is one of the first facial injectables that works together with your body to revitalize collagen production, helping to restore your skin’s inner structure. Sculptra restores volume and face contours in a natural and gradual way. Results emerge subtly but noticeably as the skin’s collagen structure is reinforced and fullness is gradually restored to deep facial folds and wrinkles.*
There are a few factors that must be taken into account when calculating the cost of Sculptra. How many treatment sessions are needed, how many Sculptra vials Dr. Carmen Laronn will use per treatment, and the degree of correction needed all affect the cost of Sculptra treatment. Due to these factors and fact that Sculptra Aesthetic treatments are customized to each individual patient, cost will vary from person to person. Keep in mind that Sculptra last significantly longer than other products so patients should always consider total cost over time. Call our office for more information on pricing at 303-221-0000.
Sculptra is very easy to tolerate and the least painful of any of the dermal fillers due to its liquid form and the fact that it is combined with a numbing agent (lidocaine). Dr. Carmen Laronn uses a topical numbing cream on all her Sculptra patients to alleviate any discomfort felt during the treatment.
After treatment, there could be some minor redness, bruising, or swelling. These are very normal side effects of the Sculptra treatment. If these do occur, they generally go away within a day.
